This wedding in The Hague city was oh so beautiful! Alice and Alex are from London and decided to get married in the Netherlands, and to celebrate it with their family and friends. This way it would really be an unforgettable day for everyone and it would feel like a little get away. A day that will be talked about for years to come. And that’s what this wedding really felt like!
When it comes to planning your beachside wedding, you just hope that the weather forecast is good! Well, this was a windy day with a heavy storm, which meant that the evening location near the beach had to be changed last minute because it would otherwise be too dangerous. The ceremony was also moved indoors at Het Spaansche Hof. Despite the storm it was a wonderful day and I had so much fun capturing it. It was so windy that day, that I will not soon forget this day. I photographed the wedding as Renate’s second photographer and started the morning at Alice to photograph the wedding details, after this I went to Alex to take photos of the preparations there. The ceremony took place at the wedding venue The Spaansche Hof and was beautifully styled. After the ceremony, the guests left in a vintage city tram towards the coast of Scheveningen. It was a bit of a challenge to get from the tram to the evening location. Blown hairstyles, flying dresses and lot’s of sand, it was worth it. Especially for the photos.
The evening location was again beautifully styled. While it was stormy outside, people were dancing, laughing and enjoying their dinner. What a wonderful day!
