Can you believe these photos were taken in December? While the winter officially started in the Netherlands, I flew to Portugal, the Algarve, to enjoy the sun and all the beauty that Portugal has to offer. It was my first time in Portugal and I was looking forward to see the gigantic cliffs that I had seen in on photos.

In Lagos I met Ana and Sam for a loveshoot at the beach. A photo shoot in Portugal was high on my list! How excited I was to photograph this sweet beautiful couple! Ana and Sam are both surfers and this is also how they met. They are now married for a year and live with their dog Maui in Lagos. Both of them are giving surf lessons in the Algarve. Besides that, they are busy opening a coffee company called ‘Coffee & Waves’. A coffee shop in Lagos where everyone who loves surfing can enjoy their time and a good cup of coffee. Before the shoot, Ana told me that she is now 5 months pregnant. How exciting!
