Is there anything more romantic than getting engaged in the beautiful city of Paris? Nick contacted me a few weeks before he wanted to ask his girlfriend Olga to marry him in Paris, if I was available to capture this moment for them. Of course I said yes! He chose to do this at the beautiful Shangri-La Hotel. Secretly we planned the proposal and a few weeks before the proposal I visited the Shangri-La Hotel to take a look at the rooms and balconies of the hotel. I wanted it to be perfect for Nick and Olga. Nick and Olga are from Canada, so we meet each other on the day of the proposal at The Shangri-La Hotel. I felt like a secret agent that was hiding behind the bathroom door. This was the moment! I quickly moved to the window that was next to the balcony and captured the proposal with the Eiffel Tower in te background. Such a beautiful moment! We planned to do the engagement session the next day at 6 am in the morning. I shoot their engagement photos with the most beautiful light in front of the Eiffel Tower. Waking up early is so worth it! Enjoy this beautiful engagement session in Paris.
